Kickstart your OpenSciEd journey this summer!
The OpenSciEd Middle School (MS) + Computer Science Teacher Academy: Foundations equips you with the confidence, skills, and support needed for a successful school year. It begins with an engaging 4-day summer kickoff session. Your learning doesn’t stop there—throughout the school year, you’ll receive additional professional learning support and a library of on-demand resources, ensuring you have the guidance to implement OpenSciEd with confidence.
The summer kickoff experience gives you start strong with OpenSciEd by:
Building a solid foundation in OSE teaching strategies.
Experiencing lessons firsthand by stepping into your students’ shoes.
Learning from real classrooms through student artifacts and videos of students engaging with OSE units.
Gaining advice and best practices from veteran OpenSciEd teachers.
Navigating teacher guides and resources with expert support as you plan to teach your first unit in the fall.
Connecting you with a community of OpenSciEd teachers who you can turn to for support throughout the school year.
Join us this summer and walk into the school year feeling prepared, confident, and ready to motivate your students!
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS THE FIRST SESSION OF A YEAR-LONG PROFESSIONAL LEARNING PROGRAM. BY SIGNING UP FOR THIS SESSION, YOU ARE COMMITTED TO A FULL PACKAGE AS OUTLINED HERE.
