In this webinar, Michael Novak, Senior Curriculum Developer at Northwestern University, Whitney Smith, Science Educator at BSCS Science Learning, and Sarah Delaney of OpenSciEd will introduce participants to the Contact Forces unit. Participants will experience a truncated version of the Anchoring Phenomenon Routine and then walk through the lessons that help to answer the questions students generate. They will discuss the embedded assessments and instructional supports and how this unit builds on the other units in the OpenSciEd Scope and Sequence. There will be time for participants to ask questions throughout the webinar.
