Each OpenSciEd unit has a list of materials necessary to teach the unit. The materials lists are provided for illustrative purposes only. If you would prefer purchasing pre-assembled kits from a vendor who maintains a ready inventory, we have partnered with vendors to provide Certified Kits for OpenSciEd units.

The following materials list is based on the assumption that teachers will have six sections of 30 students working in groups of four. We provide two different versions of our kit list, one that has all the materials necessary for the unit and one for educators needing an extension kit to be used in addition to their original unit kit.
